eMatrix is a non-laser sublative treatment that can reduce wrinkles and scarring while improving the skin’s tone and texture. It targets collagen production to improve acne scars, stretch marks, and fine lines.
eMatrix Candidates
eMatrix treatment works on all skin types. Patients desiring improved skin texture and the reduction of wrinkles and scarring are good candidates.
Procedure
eMatrix uses radio frequency (RF) energy to heat the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production to tighten skin and improve texture with minimal damage to the outer layers of skin. Treatment time is usually short, but multiple sessions may be needed.
Recovery
eMatrix treatment is minimally uncomfortable and requires little downtime. Most patients can return to regular activities in a few days depending on the extent of the treatment. The skin may be red for up to 48 hours following the procedure.
Results
Patients will see an improvement in skin tone and texture with reduced fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, and stretch marks after the first session, but final results may not be apparent for up to a few months. Multiple treatment sessions may be required.
